IRCTC Agent Registration

- Submit the required documents and pay the registration fee (OTP-based, applicable for 1 year).
- A payment wallet will be created for booking purposes (PSP-provided wallet).
- Complete KYC and undergo training for PSP provision.
- Once all documentation and KYC are complete, your IRCTC Agent ID will be issued.
Process of IRCTC Agent Registration
There are four steps to becoming an IRCTC Agent, which can be completed through an online process.

2. Pay Charges
After successfully submitting of the online IRCTC agent registration form, you have to pay the registration charges online.
3. Upload Documents
After successful payment of IRCTC agent registration charges you must upload the documents.
4. Document Verification
After completing all the steps, our executive will verify your payment & documents.
5. You will get ID & Pass
After successful verification, you will get your IRCTC agent login and you can ID & password in your email.
6. Successful Login
After agent login hyperlink activation, you can successfully log in and book the tickets using your wallet.

- Unlimited Tickets: As an authorized IRCTC agent you can book unlimited tickets with your agent login as compared to only 6 tickets per month in the personal IRCTC login ID.
- Recognition: Registering with IRCTC as an agent gives you recognition in the travel industry, as this can be the first step for any certificate for any travel agent. Many of the travel consolidators get your contact only through the IRCTC database that can offer you other travel services such as air tickets, holiday packages and so on.
- Signage: Putting a display board in front of your office or shop can attract more customers to your business, so if you are a registered IRCTC agent you can display the signage board with IRCTC log in front of your office premises. This will increase customer confidence in your business.
- Legality: The very first point is that you must register with IRCTC as an agent if you are selling the tickets because it is not legal to sell train tickets by using a personal user ID. As if we get caught selling tickets using personal user ID then this may lead to up to 3 years imprisonment and a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
To register as an IRCTC authorized agent you have to share the below documents with your Principal Service Provide.
- PAN Card: Be sure that this PAN Number is not registered with any personal ID on IRCTC.
- Aadhar Card: Both the mobile number and email ID must be updated in the Aadhar number, as you will need an OTP for the verification. And also this Aadhar card should not be registered in any personal ID on IRCTC.
- Office Address Proof: You have to provide an office address proof where you want to book the tickets. If you are on the rented premises you can provide the rent agreement or any utility bill of the premises.
- Residence Address Proof: You have to provide one residential address proof where you are currently residing.
- Mobile Number: This mobile number should not be blacklisted or registered in the personal ID with IRCTC.
- Email ID: Email Id must not be registered with IRCTC personal ID.
- Registration form: This prefilled form will be shared by the Principal Service Provider with you. You have to print, sign & send back the scanned copy.
- Declaration form: You will get the declaration form in your email. You have to print, sign & send back the scanned copy.
- One Photograph: One passport-type photo has to share, the same can be clicked from your mobile.
- IMEI Number / Device ID / Video verification: You have shared the IMEI number of the mobile phone in which you are using your registered mobile number to get the OTP for login. The second method for login is that you can also choose a single device for login, in that case, an IMEI number is not required. Another method for login is USB based dongle in which your digital signatures will be stored so that you can log in to any device using that USB Dongle.
Yes, IRCTC agents can book both opening & tatkal tickets but there will be a blocking time of 15 minutes on both. It means that the agents can book the tickets only after 15 minutes of the opening time of the booking window.
This is to be noted that IRCTC agents cannot book the tickets through their IRCTC agent login in the morning between 08:00 – 08:15, 10:00-10:15, and 11:00 -11:15
There is no additional or special seat quota for agents, IRCTC agents will be getting the same availability status as a personal user gets on his login ID.
So there is no difference or special privileges given to the agents.

To become an IRCTC agent, it takes only 2 -4 working days if you choose OTP-based login.
The validity of your IRCTC agency license is for OPT 1 Year and DSC 2 Year.
OTP-based IRCTC agent login ID can be used on any computer or mobile device, just by entering the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
IRCTC has appointed Principal Service Providers who are authorized to create IRCTC agent login on IRCTC ticket booking website.

3. अगर आपने अपनी आईआरसीटीसी आईडी से पैन कार्ड लिंक किया है तो उसे अपनी आईआरसीटीसी आईडी से हटाना यानी डीएक्टिवेट करना होगा।
